If that's Grobi16 or camo.collector from eBay, watch out.(looks like he's changed his name, but if you do a search under grobi16, you get a new name. His email used to be ohjay2@........ He's pulled some fast ones. Not sure what his problem is, but way too squirrely for me. Sorry if he's a friend or anything, but he cancels auctions on bidders (including me and another guy from the forums), then restarts the bidding at higher prices, changed his stories on how and where he obtained the pouch, etc. and plays other games I wouldn't trust him nor any item he sells nor would I ever send him a penny. He offered that exact pouch (those photos were posted on one of his auctions) in an auction in very close proximity to a couple of other convincing looking pouches.

fg 42 mag pouches

Regarding the FG42 bandolier I mentioned earlier it sold about two or three months ago after being on the shelf about four years. the photos of it were very poor I know zip about fschim field gear but it looked brand new and was very cheap for something so rare .In the last year the same seller has offered:

A six compartment mp 40 priced at £350
A fg42 bandolier priced at £500
A k43 scope and mount priced at £250
2x different k43 mag pouches at £175 each!!!

Is this guy to good to be true or am I just fishing in the wrong hole??

All those items you listed go from relatively rare to very rare. And those prices are terribly low..looks like "fool's gold" prices.

Jim i did get in touch with this guy through e bay and he used the name ohjay he was selling this on e bay but it did not reach reserve he was asking a high price, i cant say much about him but the pouches are ok and he sent me photos of his collection of mp44 pouches that all look good, i think maybe he messes around trying to get the highest price i dont know!

I think there is something fishy with him. I believe he sold that pouch a while back. I wonder if he keeps recycling photos. I notice on some auctions he has a single crappy photo of an item and at the same time he'll run a bunch of nice sharp "click on image to enlarge" photos on another item. Is he getting those photos from another person? At the same time he ran a nice original feature pouch like this one for $600 +, he ran a crappy blue obvious post war pouch for around $100 (that was billed as original). He keeps selling the same para y straps and spoon/fork set over and over (that or he has a bunch of them -he keeps using the same photo and description over and over). He had a pouch posted with one account of where it came from/ how long he had it, then when he emailed me, the story was different. After the stunt he pulled on me and that other guy; I'd avoid him like the plague. That's Grobi16 or camo.collector or ohjay or whatever he calls himself. Good luck.

thanks for the info it dose seem odd he is not so mr honest after all! another one to watch, boy there is a load of bad sellers/dealers out there. its enough to make you have bad dreams!! thank god we have this forum
