IMHO they are post war BGS straps:

warning marks: 1943 was mostly stamped with 3 letter code and not maker stamped
Most of the time black stitching is post war (but not allways, but then it is very early)

I definitely am not into the markings shown. they dont look right at all plus too crisp and thin. not for me. Glenn

                Hello Gentlemen,
I'm surprised that no one did notice the wrong orthography for the name of maker : Josef Moll ?
                No !!!! Joseph Moll

I'm glad this thread started a discussion on the straps. Actually these very same straps are sold as ORIGINAL (which we can easily see they are not) on Ebay, from Germany, at a price which would be right for repro/re-enactment stuff. Interestingly, the seller offers also reproductions to a even more ridicolous price (quality is even lower). I saw the auctions going on since months and the "originals" always have such markings.
By the way, I needed 2 straps for carrying a zeltbahn on my 4x4 and i got a set. But now we have a big BEWARE
