    bicycle,German?

    I need some help,a friend of mine have seen this bicycle for sale,cut this by any chance be a German WW II model?.
    Sorry these are the only photos I have,the small metal shield says Concordia.

      Not a military model, and perhaps not German. German bikes should have a front brake on the handlebar...my Police handbook for bike riders states the bike should have two different types of brakes. Also the handlebars appear to be mounted quite high. However it appears to be about the right age. You could make it represent the sort of bikes that were taken into the military service...

        It might be german, but that one is a postwar model.

          Hello
          Your bike is most likely Swiss.
          The little leather pouch is the one you will se on original military Swiss bike.
          If it is cheap enough ,you could probably restore it into a German one ( for display only ,of course!!!)
