    More medical items...

Nothing special though, but it keeps me going

A big thank you to member Chris, especially for the Krankentr******228;ger-armbands!

Amongst the stuff again a few first-aid pouches too. I try to get as many different makers of them. Guess I'm addicted to these!

The smal brown Verbandzeug is one I picked up at the Ciney show for a very good price. It's a nice variation with the pebbled (ersatz?) leather.

    Cheers

Yes,the Verbandzeug is really nice and you have a very small stamp in the leather straps behind.Very, very soft marking.
Do you saw the Sanitätkasten at the table where you found your Verbandzeug, really nice example in excellent condition.

It's indeed another Bollmann&Co production, dated 43'. Most of the pouches I have in my collection and inspected so far have this maker.

The dutch guy he had also a Heeresatmer and SBG 38 which were, although in very nice condition, way overpriced IMO

        about the types of Krankenträger-armbands

The large printed version is mostly considered late-war by collectors. I was in the believe as well, and the characteristics seems to confirm my thoughts, but when I noticed the picture in the following post (from a 39' dated Sanit******228;tsfibel), I wonder if they are indeed late-war. Or at least you had a similar large pre-war version...printed or not, I don't know.

I have 4 examples of Krankentr******228;ger-armbands in my collection. I know you had 2 sizes within the woven version, But the printed one is clearly much larger. I've never seen a woven example of the same size as the printed one.

        Cheers

          2. This picture clearly show Krankentr******228;ger in pre-war (Reichswehr?) outfit wearing a very large armband (larger then any woven version I've ever encountered). Printed or not?

You must have enough stuff to equip a medical battalion by now!
