To me it look like a nice original . Is the paint Dark green ?
Is the lower portion also marked ?

Greetings :Were SS mess kits ever stamped on the INSIDE of the cover and body, other than on the outside as shown here

I like the inside of this item. It has coloring from former food still left inside.
