    WW11 German grenades

    Hi,

I've got six "stick grenades" all with matching numbers. They cost 28 pounds each from a local "junk"fair about a year ago.

I think they are original but may be repainted can any help on this matter?Do you suspect them of being repainted.

    Kind regards,

    Marcus

Hi Marcus, I really do not know how to tell you this. But these grenades are all repro. They are made in India for a company here in the UK called "World Wide Arms". They have a website where you can buy these grenades from them for £38 inc P&P. Here is a link to their website:

                    http://www.worldwidearms.com/cgi-bin...t/EN/HotDeals/

So you did buy them cheap. They will re sell no problem to re-enactors. When these first hit the market I saw them sell out at several shows that I attended. They also appear on E Bay as real of course!
There is a bit about repro grenades here on the site. Do a search and I am sure you will find the thread.
                    Cheers, Ade.

                        Hi Marcus!

Don't be embarrased. Happens to the best of us (and to me, too)...

If you want to unload a couple of them, I'd buy them from you. Just let me know via PM. They would be perfect for my "war room". Grenades and weapons are generally outside my collection interests, but a couple repro "potato mashers" would be ideal. Let me know.

                        Best and friendliest regards

                        Ralph
