    Any comments are welcome!!

              Hello
              Here is mine
with marking inside and outside of the sole
              48
              11
              Wefsels
              1942

(this is not usual german size marking)
This boots are named "lappländischer typ" because there are finnish origin or there are copied from finnish type
This boots have flat front with leather return characteristic and often are no nails (your have not this leather return perhaps short cut ??)
there was used by gebirgs with long distance ski
(I have seen several with SS stamps)
              Regards

                Hello Bernard

                THank you for your answer.
Nice pair of boots you have !

About the SS-BW marked and available in the market...all those I have seen are fake and recently made

The pair I own don't seems modified...

                Any others opinion ?

                  lapons

Certainly Lapons were German used by the 6SS mountain Div. which is seen in at least one photo.Whether the SS stamps are original to these boots is always debatable, there does seem to be a lot of them with these markings,
                  Cheers,Paul.
