WOW....that is a truely mint generator....fantastic find!

Here is a photo of mine, which is very very similar, but I note a different nomenclature - yours is a type HNG 100/58 and mine is a WG570a. I think the difference is not down to the engine, but the power output.



Clearly mine has been used, too. And therein lies my question. I want to start and run the generator occasionally, but I have no idea when it was last started or even if it runs. The previous owner got it in a clearance so he had no idea about its history.

What are the lists thoughts on what should be done to run this puppy?
