    Late War Y-straps - Opinion Need !

Friend of mine ask me to show those Y-straps and get some informations about their originality. What is your opinion ?? On the last photo ( with markings ) Y strpas are before cleaning ( they were dirty ). those Y-straps are marked in 2 places as you could see on photos.
    Thanks in advance.

They look ok to me. However, I have never seen a maker markings like those before.

        Hello
They appear to be good but the marking is kind of suspect to me.
The one in the center piece looks more like what I would expect to see.
        Best Regards

thats a first for me. but good to know. Ive seen here on the forum a RBNr in a semi circle, it was on a tornister. customizing their markings. Im surprised that was allowed. Glenn

                  Hello
There is something not right about the marking on this pair!!!
Since when did the German use "No" on the RBnr ? N o stands for "numero" used only in French ,as far as I know the French did not produce Y-straps for the German . So ,something is not right here with these markings.
                  Best Regards
                  Pierre-Yves

                    Pierre,
Not true, Germany used "Nr." for nummer AND also "No" for number or numero, which is probably an international designation. I had this stamped on an original Waffen-SS helmet cover, for the size. It was veteran's family bought and an unquestionable original. If we dig harder, I am sure it was used elsewhere.

                      Hello all,

the straps look very nice and original! I have seen the stamp in a cirkle before, don't know if it was the same number. Although the the term RB.No is rare, I have also seen it before, here's an example on a Cavallery Boot:

                      Regards Peter

                        Hello
We are not talking other equipment here but leather y-Straps ,nor stamps in a circle ,I have a pair with it and on the leather piece ).
Something is not right with these straps , the owner claim that they were really dirty ,still the tread is nice and white ??? ,I don't like this stamping at all. Fake and artificially aged Y-Straps IMHO
" No " is not international Nr is used .
                        Regards
                        P-Y

Thank you very much for your opinion guys.
Pierre I'm not owner of those Y-straps . My friend is owner. They were dirty with some oil , dusty or something like that ( also treads were dirty ) but my friend cleaned them up and now they are clean (but in some places leather is darker when in other is brighter - in some places they were clean up very well in some others dirt, oil ( or something like that ) is in leather very deep and it's not easy to clean them up in those places . Those Y-straps are dirty mostly on brown side. I also , as guys said , seen such stamped Y-straps ( in worst condition - in almost abused condition ).
Maybe those straps were made somewhere in occupied territories ( Belgium , Norh Italy , Luxemburg ) where "numero" - No - where used instead "numer" - Nr - ( "numero" sound more like italian then french for me ).

One more thing - Pierre look on he last photo - you could seen how they were dirty before cleaning . all other photos are after cleaning ( most of dirt and oil is removed but it took a long time to get rid off this mess ).
I'd like to point you out on strange S (like S rune ) . Every part on those Y-straps has such S rune .
