Kind of doubt that there were many of these brought back by returning soldiers, but this one was.

They were likely quite plentiful in all areas of the Wehrmacht's travels since they were quite necessary for many reasons but most of all around the animals.

I used to have one of these ,painted green , came from a French farmer many ,many years ago.
Ostfront also had one for sale few years back. They used them for delousing.
