    help with unusual belt

Any idea on this belt? only marking is 100 at the tip. I assume it is German becasue of a few minor similarities. But haven't any idea what it is for.

It's a firefighter belt. I think post war as it has rivets. (100 cm lenght).

Guys, how sure are you on the post war part? It came from an estate with everything there being wartime, including a fire visor.

            hello !!
of course We maybe wrong - but belt is looking post war to me - chrome finished steel, leather made with rough side to inside - shiny to outside.

            cheers !

Working as a cop I had some contact with our firefighters and if they don't bear them the belts hang on open hooks in the cabin of the engine or the ladder. Your one looks exactly like them, including the rivets.

The only think what looks used is the big hook for the rope (if they climb up the ladder).
