          Well, it looks to be made out of original materials, but I doubt if these were issued in this way.
          My guess would be, that it was converted this way... post war? who's gonna tell

                  one think We know - that its not engineer backpack.....

                  but what I think: it supossed to be one - butt was never finished.

                  I like materials used - IMHO its unfinished backpack.. that was stolen.. taken from factory in late ages of war.. or after the war... And repaired with leftovers for civil use...

                  that would be my shot in the dark...

                  it maybe also - its a modern forgery, or like Edwin said - something WE dont know...

                  Either way - its not pioniere pack
                  PS why pictures are from 2004 ??
