Hi guys I have six forks that are marked but I'm not sure who they were for. I wanted to make sure they are ok also before puting them on estand. I think they are for the army? Thanks in advance!

strange looking eagle but theres no doubt about the W.A.L. 43 marking. thats the real deal, I know that as a fact. dont know who used them but theyre good ones. Glenn

This kind of flatware was generally used in canteens and dining areas, but also in the field ( field kitchen ). And i think it`s OK, they used this kind of eagelstamps that looks like a starved chicken,

          Regards

              Forks

              Hello David
The forkies are OK. I have one marked the same - but 1942. They are in nice condition.
              Take care.
