      Well if this is a repro ,they do look pretty good and the ageing of the leather is perfect. While the back strap is not good ,the front part do look good
      IMO. I cannot comment on the markings because I have never seen that maker before ,so probably a fake marking.
      Mid war strap would have a mix of metal and alu part sometimes.
      If these are repros ,were are they coming from ?

        Pierre - these are not repros - check that link I posted before -

        thats some early post war straps - most likely austrian - marked with ww2 markings

          I hads one of these (as seen in the link) and I agree with Mike. Could have been a batch of straps from 1950s, that now would be more than 50 years old.

            What happened...

            Hello guys!

            Thank you for your help with this pair of straps. I emailed the dealer this thread and told him there were some concerns regarding this strap. He said no problem, send them back right away. Instead of money I chose a few medals from his shop for the same price as I gave for the strap. I received the medals today and I am very happy with them. Now I have one less bad apple in the basket, so thank you guys
