tropical canteen

hello all,

Can you tell my something about this tropical canteen, I bought this
for 30 euro but i have some doubt and need your opinions...

first .the buckle looks like a little bit different then the textbook one, i mean
that this one have no sharp ''teeth"....




there are no marks on the hook,






the cap is marked with VDVS 37,



the canteen is marked with RITTER Alfurit D.R.P.a 7



and the webbing sie picture,



I do like the canteen, i think he is oke...but......

Only bottle and cup are propper-straps are present poor quality fake, mixed with genuine(pig ca 1943) leather strap and spring-loaded hook.

sorry but you mean that everting is oke, except the webbing parts ?

the hook without mark is oke ?
and the screwlid on the webbing ?

sorry but I would "throw away" (or sell to a re-enactor) the whole webbing (including screw lid and hook)

The bottle itself is probably ok, and the cup too, but cup is not the "normal" cup you find on these DAK field bottles

thank you Tom... I thougt so, I keep the bottle and the cup, (i like the bottle)mayby i walk against the correct strapping in the futur.....
