Confirmation needed on pair of Knobelbecher

    Hello guys

Has been a while since I bought something non-medical. I got this pair of knobelbecher rather cheap I must say. Condition is not the best, but price reflected that. These were supposed to be together ever since they were made. I would like to use them for a new project soon.

I see nothing wrong at first glance, but as this is not my area, some feedback here is highly appriciated!

Thanks in advance for your reply

    Cheers

    Jan

            Hi Jan,
I think there is no problem with these used private tailored NCO boots.
            ciao!

              Salut Philip

Private tailored right? I couldn't find any official size markings on them indeed. But apart from the lack of markings, what else gives away that these are private purchased boots?

Btw, I payed 60 € for this pair.

              Cheers

                Hi again Jan,
At rear bottom of the boots, the reinforcing leather part should be internal, and vertical stitching all along the shaft should go until the heel. On the bottom part of the shaft, you can see a stitching all around the boot, this feature is a non regulation feature. It's a very good price, even for private purchased boots..
                ciao!

Thanks Philip for your professional help here...I definatly learned some new things

Used by an NCO sounds most logical indeed, but a sch******252;tze with some extra cash could have bought them as well I suppose.

                  Thanks again!

                  Cheers

                    Hi again Jan,
yes, you are right, I used NCO as a generic term, but they were perhaps ordered and purchased by a trooper with some money...
                    ciao!
