    Dienst - brille

    hi,
I wonder if this piece of equipment were used by Luftwaffe. Some time ago I've heard that this blue-grey color indicates Luftwaffe units. Is it true?
    Best regards

I think it is a generic model/color for all field of troops, marine, wehrmacht and luftwaffe.
    But just my opinion.
At least all I have seen are in same color.

        Hi,
and I've seen a late war version without the marking "Dienstbrille" on the lid.
        ciao!

I agree with all the others.

However, I wonder if any tan-painted ones were ever produced...

          Cheers
