Frans, I think your stick handle is actually a practice grenade handle. the metal fittings are reddish in color when it should be the same color as the can. Glenn

Hi Glenn,

You might be right, but the wooden stick is matching the date and marking on the can. Further more, this stickgrenade was part of more stickgrenades. They were found together in a crate. This one is the only surviving!! And it was as found (with this stick on the can I mean).
