Medical bag for mounted stretcher bearers

Hi all,

While going at it, let's go for another type of bag. This time it's the Krankenträgertasche für berittene Mannschafften or medical bag for mounted stretcher bearers. This is the same bag as shown by Fred here http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=183478, but now for mounted personnel.
The design is very nice but my piece is missing all contents and content sheets. However, I'm glad the shoulder strap is still there
The bag has a large 'K' marked for Krankenträger. Everything else can be seen in the pictures.

PS: I have no idea of the purpose of the small loop located in the lower right corner of the bag (seen from the front)? Any opinions?

2) Reverse view with the cloth shoulder strap. Rivets hold the leather straps in place to open/close the upper compartment:

3) Markings K.W.K. 1938 and the large letter 'K':

4) On the reverse, next to the right loop where the shoulder strap goes through, is a Waffenamt stamp with WaA920:

5) The metal loop on the right side, so far the purpose remains unknown to me:

Here is mine(all complete),found in Waterloo,"la sucrerie"old factory where Napol******233;on 1 made sugar from sugar beet.During retreat from Normandy there is a field hospital,a lot of medical stuff where found there,also FJ helmets.I'll make better pic later.
