need opinions on A-FRAME

I remeber (but may be wrong) that the last a-frames on the stand were sold in a few minutes and at high prices......

Hello Alessio, since you asked, I think the price you are asking is the same as the price that I would expect to see on a big-name dealer site. I think people like to get better prices from fellow collectors on the e-stand than they would pay from a dealer with a lifetime guarantee. More than $700 is a lot of money, especially for something you got for free. Collectors asking dealer prices when they sell is one of the reasons prices have become so out of control, everyone wants to squeeze every last cent they can out of every item, even if they got the item for a low price. There can't be a lot of collectors out there who would pay that price for an A-Frame. I would want to pay $600 including shipping. Just my opinion.

I purchased an A Frame a couple of months back from the E-stand complete with the long strap to secure the mess kit.
I paid 500 Euro and am very happy with the deal.
I think I was lucky to get in very quickly with my offer to buy.
With any A frame if the mess kit strap is missing, this would be a problem for me, as they are very difficult to find by themselves.

Frame is 100% good.... problem is the price - which in USD is not too attractive.... at $700 range I would expect to get a whole frame with bag and horizontal strap

I agree with the above comments. it is a nice frame but its missing that hard to find mess tin strap. especially a web strap, very hard indeed. if you did knock off $100.00 it would probably go but only you can decide if your willing to go lower. I know the pain of purchasing pieces at retail prices and when I go to sell something cant even get close to what I see them going for. thats why I try not to upgrade. I ALWAYS lose my ass! but I personally think its a nice looking frame in vgc. Glenn
