funny this thread was brought back up. just recieved notice from the (soon to be) new owner that He sent out the last installment a few days ago. theyre getting shipped out to the west coast in a couple of days. but dont fret, I still have my '43 dated pair that are just like the ones Jacco posted here today. nice ones Jacco. I was also thinking of polishing my boots but decided not to. although they would look better, just like with helmet liners, its a turn off to many collectors. best think good and hard before applying any shine. Thanks for the kind words Glenn .

Indeed funny, this tread coming up again and the boots mentioned in it almost shipped out to his new owner . I'll have a good think about cleaning my boots up. As you said, a lot of fellow collectors like them 'untouched' and maby I am one of them .

If you have the time, show us your '43 boots. I'm curios !!

I was sleeping apparently. Didn't noticed the posting-date, so don't mind the 'new purchase' thing.

              Ariks and Jacco, great examples!

              Cheers

                        Glenn,

That's better . Great pair of boots and I must say in perfect condition .

There are some slight differences but indeed very mutch the same.
                        Thx. for showing Glenn.
