    Uniform and equipment questions

    Hi,
Can anyone tell me something about the equipment and unifoms of the soldiers presented on those fotos?
    First foto:
Is this soldier a pilot fighting on the ground? Could you tell me something about his uniform and flight helmet? The pouch on his belt is MG 34 gunner belt pouch? Does anyone know the car on the left?
    Second:
I'm intersted in the uniforms and helmet covers of this soldiers. Piece of equipment marked by the red arrow - what is this? A Mp 38/40 ammo pouch?
    Third:
Info about the helmet covers and camuflage clothing needed.
Thank you from the mountain ( ),
    Fanatyk6

This soldier wears indeed bomber-coveralls, but he could have grabbed those everywhere, e.g. passing an abandoned airfield while retreating.
His belt-pouch is for the MG42, as it is made of yellow "Ersatz"-material. His cap is not military issue, looks civilian.

    Second foto:
Those paratroopers wear the first modell of the reversible winter-uniform, called "Schwerer Kälteschutzanzug", standard Wehrmacht issue, but often related to the paras. The helmet covers are first modell for para-helmets in plain green. The pouch is the 6-mag.-pouch for MP38/40, again often related with paratroopers.

    Third foto:
Same covers again, plus 3rd modell of paratrooper smock in splinter-pattern.

I think this man is a gliderpilot..,he wears a tan Summer flightsuit and a tan Summer flightcap without earphones, typical for glider, the straps are folded inwards the cap...,so,there's a good chance these guys came by glider, most times these pilots joined the battle, what else could they do ? ..,just my opinion.

oh boy... I've forgotten to tell you that those fotos features SS FJG from 600 Btl in Schwedt bruckenkopf... And I've just wanted to know more about it cause I live near there... For sure they didn't get there by glinders bridge in Schwedt is better alternative I think. Thanks for the help!

Photo 3 is of some UK reenactors and the photo is on their website. They used to be part of 2/FJR2 but have formed their own group as I understand it of SS500/600.

                Their website is http://www.ssfj.co.uk/

Yes, bridgehead in the Oderfont... but near Kustrin (now Kostrzyń in Poland). For sure those fotos are not from the Schwedt area...
