    Are the rubber bands that hold the gas cape bag onto the gas mask cannister original or are they just cut from a tyre in recent times. Is this how the cape bag would have been attached ?

        Thanks guys! I bought it in Bretagne for not too much (I think...).

        I don't think the rubbers are authentic but I'm not sure. The cape is however shaped round so it must have been on this gascan for a long time..
