      Hello
I'm glad I didn't took it. I mailed first and we was on hold for me, but I decided not to take him.... so he was sold to you after hat.

I noticed the eagle I'd never seen. It's almost like the eagle has hair under his wings

      Is that common?

Hi, I've never seen an original cover with the buckle on the right.

          Hello

And Rick is exactly right . Never seen one with a RBnr either ,no need to see pictures of the buckle on these ones !!! Screm fakes from the first picture.
100% fake , made from old or very well aged leather. does anybody knows were they are made ??? When was this one on the Estand ? I don't remember seing it ? or I would have said something !!!
There is also a fake sand color one around ,with the buckle on the correct side ,but fake nonetheless.
          Best Regards
          Pierre-Yves

I have always thought the buckle should be on the left hand side (opposite of the photo) when you are facing the cover. Is this not correct?

So the buckle on this cover is on the wrong side. E-tool covers never had the hold down strap set up this way?

            Thanks

              Hello

              Yes that is correct .
I have owned and handled quite few of these cover ,both early made of leather and mid-war/late-war made of compressed cardboard ,and studied countless period photos ,never ,ever seen an original with a buckle on the right side !!!.
So basicaly ,buckle on the right side means big fake
              Hope this will help you.
              Best Regards
