I too am waiting for an early gas cape...a light misting of Lysol kills mold and would probably be kinder to your cape over the long haul. I have used it on sensitive items before. Just don't soak.

thanks for the tip Rick. I hear ya Ian. I usually get home and get all relaxed and lock myself in the den and zen out while I thoughly inspect my new treasure. just that the last couple weeks have been so crazy I didnt really even have time to take a dump. both my packages were worth the wait though.
