    A-Frame set-up

Here's something I've been working on. Need 2 more mess kits and I'll have 2 more complete A-Frames. Can anyone help me out with nice conditioned mess kits?

    Enjoy

very nice Ken. I love fully equipped A frames set ups. hey, PM with the the specifics on the mess tins you seek, such as condition, year, matching top/bottom, price you want to pay...ect. I see them all the time, Im sure I can link you up to 2 of them over a short time. Glenn

          Original Mess Kits

About 15-20 years ago I bought 50 messkits from an ad in Shotgun News, I was getting them to sell to reenactors. When they arrived, they were all 43 and 44 dated, unissued German mess kits with paper between them. I had given $1.95 each for them and offered them to the reenactors for $10.00 each and sold about 20 of them. Most were happy with their Bundeswehr or East German mess kits so I had 30 of them sitting around my house. I sold the rest to Col. Bubbie at the Stand Surplus Senter in Galveston for $5.00 each. He took them to his warehouse where he stores his stuff but I never saw him sit them out for sale so he may still have them. You may contact him and see if he still has any of them left.
