    German field flashlights ???

    Hello,

    Would you please give me your opinions on those two field flashlights.
    Are they German ? and pre '45?

          Not sure about the first one but the tabs on the second one look East German to me.

            I would say that both of them are post war made.

              yup.. flashlights are tuff area.. - science many of these models were produced up to 80's....

              I dont like these either...

                Many thanks for your replies.
                On another forum ,I was just sent a copy of page 134 of(Uniforms & traditions of the German army 1933-1945 by J.R. Angolia and Adolf Schlicht).
                The first flashlight with fold-down cover is shown as being a private purchase,I guess that it is not commonly used and not a regular army issue.
