All good !! altough straps sook like some field modification - this type of bag should have short straps to attach to Y-straps

The straps don't appear to be altered. They even all match in color from age. Can it be a type variant?

I'm agree with Kuligow... Straps were added outside of factory, field made or sth.Look at the top part of rucksack,where straps "meet" body of bag.You got holes in straps over there , that was kind of regulation-Now it is impossible cause studs keep them.
