Strange Ersatz Tan Pouch (gmn 1945)

I need lights for this pouch...

I really don't know which was its use ? For which ? Pioneer or specific ?

Metal parts are marked LUX, leather Substitute and marked gmn 1945 and WaA36
Height: 18cm, width:14cm, thickness: 3,5cm

Probably for something artilery related, they had some wierd pouches, I think this is one of them.

I used to remember exactly what this one is for - but my memory is getting bad.. 100% artillery related tool - very nice condition though and nice date !!!

hmm friend of mine had something like this . it was also made from presstoff but from black presstoff . it was made also by gmn and was dated 1942 .Had also waffen amt. We also wondered what it was for ?? unfortunetely we didn't find any answer so I will be very glad to know what it was for . Here are some pics of my friend pouch

Modified ?

Hello Edoudou68,

I am afraid that you pouch had (could?) been modified after war to be used as a bicycle tool box !
I had seen a lot of MG pouch modified for this !

... but would they have used the correct (probably Lux) straps to modify this pouch?

May be we could see some close-ups of the straps and the way they are attached?

Fuze tool

Hello,

Pouch is for artillery grenade fuze timer tool. Used for fuze's like Zt.Zs.30 or similar. These fuze's has an internal mechanical clock, and this tool is used to get right time, when wanted an grenade to blow up in the air abowe enemy.

I myself have an complete set of pouch and timer-tool. Sorry, I cant post pictures here in WAF.
