Jackboots! Any good?

I am looking for a pair of Jackboots. I saw a pair of Jackboots, but was wondering if they were the real deal. So, I am hoping that one or more members can help me out. According to the seller these boots came straight from the vet. They were dirty and he cleaned them up.

they look good! as usual they ve been used by farmers after the war.i have a couple like that from germany uncleaned!

I like them, but I think they might be something other than army boots. Odd leather pull straps, high toes, strap over the joint in the back instead of overlapped....is it possible that they might be Feuerwehr boots?

Well, this sounds encouraging. The seller wants 120 euros for them. Could they be indeed feuerwehr boots?

I agree with David's details. I dont know what they are but theyre not the standard issue jackboot. Glenn

According to the seller the previous owner of these boots served untill 1943 in Organisation Todt. Afterwards in the Wehrmacht (Heer). Maybe this can explain why the jackboots are not textbook infantry boots?
