medical bag in photo - what is it?

    Hello to all

I was wondering if someone could help me identifying the bag that is visible in below picture. What origine could it be?

It isn't like any standard german WW2 bag I know.

Maybe some sort of captured (russian?) medical bag? I have no idea where this picture has been taken, but a forest is very well possible IMO

Thanks in advance for your help

    Cheers

    Medical Bag

    Jan,

I can say that it is not the standard, archetypical Russian medical bag. It is possibly a variation, but more likely from some other nation. I think the shape of the formed metal tip will be the clue to compare to other nations equipment.

Thanks Mike for your reply. It's highly appriciated

My search goes on, maybe I will post it in the international section to get some more response. Its not easy to ID it just from this one picture and to think that the germans have been a little bit everywere in Europe during the conflict, it could be any nationality...some sort of beute-tasche indeed.

Hi Jan, not much help I know, but the bag is not British and like Mike says nor is it Russian.

        Cheers, Ade.
