Hi Michael. Perhaps you could clarify what you mean by "officer grade" regarding my boots? I have several pairs of boots, both EM and officer, and these are early, standard issue EM. Here are some pictures of one of my pairs of officer's jackboots, with only horseshoes and toe cleats for comparrison. They are a good example of the typical, custom made boots worn by officers, as opposed to the mass produced (but of high quality) EM pair I posted earlier. I think the differences speak for themselves.
