Tropical Y-straps

I was wondering why these straps had been given the thumbs down because they look perfectly allright. One thing that I haven't seen in repros (yet!!!) is the strap changing from wide to thin on the front of the shoulder straps. The bad ones seem to only have seperate pieces.

get that foot out quick Glenn - because We need You back Here on the Forum

Mark - I guess we came up with the same conclusion.. but I have also add that back strap - altough good one - was most likely shortened - look like its cut

I'm still not 100% on that back strap. It looks like a replacement item, may be a repro. That alternating weave pattern just doesn't look right IMHO. I could eb wrong because I'm not holding it in my hands. Please, someone prove me wrong.
