    Wh Rücksack: gebirg or.....whole army?

Hello, I would need opinions/ info about this rucksack in as found conditions, with a "has been there" look.
This one came up on a flea market in Elsass near Strasbourg about 10 years ago.Manufactured by Jacob MULLER in 1942, internal pocket, green canvas, nearly complete as 4 leather loops that shall be on the front pocket has been removed before I found it? Can't say if it was war or postwar removed.
I've seen in one thread that this kind has been used by gebirgs, but I would say that it can has been used by all branches of army, in any one have a comment/info will be pleased to read it.

Its a Gebirg pattern I believe .. - I always considered this pattern beeing an early one - quite suprising to see it dated 1942....
