An old post wgere posted photos seem to have vanished?

Anyway: The remaining photo shows two torpedoes that are hard to identyfy from this angle, but my guess would be british Mk. VIII.

I have no records of german torpedoes at Malta (although I have some vague recollection of an old - WW1 - german G/6 in that part of the world...), so it would be great if anyone can provide information (and photos) confirming this...
