Opinions please-another tropical Y-straps

Yes I know, more tropical Y-straps
I have been offered those by a guy who sent them to me for carefull inspection.
I think they are OK,but I would like to know your opinions about its originality,if they are early made or late war,and what do you think of its price 300 euros.
Any help will be wellcome.

300 is a lot of money, I think more like 250....

I think as killingspree that 300 euro is a lot to much . I've seen minty ones for that price !! I think they worth something about 200 euros and no more.
They are good ones.
Could tell us what kind of color they are ?? Are they olive green or tan . yellow ?? Color matters . It's something like with webed frogs. If they olive green they could be early ones ( 41-42 ). If they more like tan, yellow they could be late ones ( 43-45 ). But I/m not the best specialist in webed gear so maybe someone else could tell something more.

Theses straps are 100% good.
For the price, it's not so expensive comparing some dealers who are asking more then $500 for the same condition.

Just to add to the other positive comments.

The straps do indeed look like a nice set of originals.

Regarding the price, from a UK perspective, i would expect to pay around 325 Euros from a dealer for these, so the asking price for this set i think is fair personally.

And that does not happen very often in this price madness infested hobby....

Regarding the colour, dedicated DAK collectors tend only to consider the olive green shade of webbing to be "true" Africa issue, however i have a 1941 dated set which is the tan/yellow colour shown here.

Either would be fine for an "Afrika" display i feel, or indeed any infantry display from 41-45 really.

Many photos exist from early 1942 of Rexist Walloon volunteers wearing webbing "Y" straps in the Soviet Union with standard woolen uniforms and leather equipment. The word "Tropical" has been used by various dealers around the globe to add a little pricing spice to things in my humble opinion.

In short, buy them
