    Not sure that this is even German. Any ideas?

    This is the only marking that I can find. Looks almost Russian or eastern...

      Looks very much like a Soviet car instrument pack. My Lada as almost exactly the same in the trunk, though made from artificial matherials. But older models of lada or Moskvitch, ZAZ, etc. maybe had canvas packs, like this one /well, the one in my car has 2 straps only, but as said this one looks from older times/. Very typical configuration, the straps holding the long tyre pump, the pocket for the huge portable lamp /powered through the car cigarette lighter/. OTK is a typical commie quality control stamp.
      Of course, it may be from a truck or maybe form a military vehicle or equipment, difficult to judge its size fro mthe picture, but as said resmbles in all aspects the Soviet car trunk instrument pack and te OTK stamp makes it Soviet IMO.
