Does anyone know what this is? I picked this up with a bunch of other equipment from a vet today. I thought it was an M34 but I have never seen an inside like this.

Seems like you have picked up a very nice German M31 signalsman`s fur back pack the so called "Fernsprechtornister".There were 3 models existing, each numbered with either "1","2" or "3" .The inside was slightly different on the models. It was made for keeping cable reels, spare parts and other sinals equiptment.Comment
