Opinions on tornister straps

Friends,

I recently bought these 3 straps to go with a tornister I have. I bought them from Helmut Weitze as "originals".

I'm a bit uneasy about them what do you think?

I hope some others will provide their opinions, but I do not like them; the straps, fittings or the markings.

I like them. I 've seen markings like that on straps. Those I've seen was the almost the same markings "erg" and dated 12/41 ( 12 means I think month and 41 year ) .My friend found them (something about 30 or 40 pieces in one bag ) in cellar of old house with many other pieces of equipment (like e- tools , gasmask , meskits, canteens and other stuff like that ) in Germany so I belive those which are in your possess are good ones.

I have some post war straps - and thy look different .. - based on these pictures I would say that this straps are good

I'm just getting too paranoid!

One last thing on these straps, If you look at the bottom strap in the first picture shows the dye\paint has gone on the reverse side, is this a common occurrence?

I have a huge inventory of these straps ("T" straps were the only thing I could afford when I was a kid) and nearly all of the straps have some sort of dye on the reverse. Problem with these straps is mass production of these with little QA.
