They're still out there,but the questionis where...that's exactly what I keep asking to myself Jos...but I never get a reply!Let me tell you that in the late 80s a whole load of WH tropical boots,found in an old boxcar in a Southern Italy marshalling yard was "burnt on the spot" by some zealous Italian Army soldiers who needed it to store something else which was deemed more valuable,i.e. a stock of OD paint.....and THAT'S NO URBAN LEGEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recently came out (in Estonia), what I heard approx 15 pairs of german lowboots (unissued cond). I saw also 2 pairs from that find, and they were in same condition as Manny's.
I didn´t have the money to buy them
Maybe these are from same place?

I've heard about that as well....these come from a different source though....GONNA MOVE TO EESTI !

I just got back from a couple days journey and low and behold.. very nice Manny (as always) in the boot dept. those are in great issued shape. I'm glad for you but my boot searching days are over. I have a true blue '43 pair that I love. great front line footwear. Glenn
