Help with a K98 cleaning kit

I recently was given a K98 cleaning kit marked cnx. First thing I noticed was that it was painted in a blue/grey color. (not a recent re paint). I thought it was a Luft. issue. can anyone, or has anyone encountered this. I am assuming it's an early issue. Any help would be great Thanks in advance Paul

I've got one like yours, only differernce is that mine is marked ab41. Such a colour doesn't mean that it was LW issue. You better try the search option in this forum for cleaning kits, there's plenty of info on this subjet.
