Hi John,
in my opinion they do look like WW2 German mountain boots;they are not true-blue "kommis" specimens but there are a few details I do like....it wouldn't take me by surprise if they were from a batch of civilian boots pressed into service...the leather seems quite soft and comfortable!All in all I like them...they look period and the markings inside look original enough to me.......strange there are no other markings in sight...so be wary!If the price ain't crazy you may go for them
