    Luftwaffe pilot's hip-flask ?

    Hi ,
I picked this up at my local car-boot sale. There was no history with it, but I assume it belonged to a Luftwaffe fighter pilot. On the base is roughly inscribed "Berlin 1940". Has anyone seen one of these before, and what might be the value ?

    Cheers,
    Steve

The Russians are making flasks with all kinds of emblems and motifs on them. Just look at eBay's Russian WW2 offerings and you'll see these. Most have a Guards badge or Order of Victory superimposed on them, but in any event they're all modern day clunkers.
