I just found this strange backpack configuration. What could it be?

Hi Yuri,

This is a pre-war Swiss Tragegestell for mountain troops. There should be some small marks or even a small metal plate on it. Check the ends of the leather straps for some.

It's marked with Third Reich German national eagles.

Those are post war added, sorry. Nothing German about these.
