VERY nice original boots, Daniele, you get some great stuff in Italy! Were they dealer found or somewhere else?
            ciao

              Ciao Daniele,
beautiful pair of M37s;I LOVE the color of the leather they're made of....left un-dyed while I've got an identical pair which has been chrome-tanned!
The fact that they bear a date is also a plus, for I'm not that keen on WW2 German footwear without a date,as long as there's a good reason for not having a date of course, read use and wear,an assuring RBNr or particular models!
There's a pair of M37s listed on eBay:
              http://cgi.ebay.com/Short-Lace-up-An...QQcmdZViewItem

They're absolutely German-made and all, but the natural metal/bonderized eyelets and the peculiar leather would suggest a 1945 manufacture which could eben be post-war at this point !I've had an identical pair which I've sold to a member last year, but mine were dated 45 on the inner shaft
and came stright from the field!I LOVE your M37s but would think twice before ponying up a boatload of lettuce for the eban ones, but hey....that's ME!
              Congratulazioni !

Thanks so much Manny, grazie mille!
Steve, not from a dealer, they should come originally from another old collection, I had them from a friend who collects Austrian WW1 ITEMS in a trade.
