    Optic Tripod

I found this optic tripod the other day. It was claimed to be German WW2. I believe it to be Finish because of the SA marking. Can someone shed some light on this piece? Was it German manufacture and exported to Finland. The manufacturing and parts closely resemble that used by the Germans during the war. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks again

Yes, SA. Finnish manufacture. If reissue, it would still show German markings I would think. Maker marks should be present too. Now if someone could give me a maker on the tripod question I have up there.

I have look all over the tripod and I cannot find any marker marks. I did notice a darker grey/green pant that has been painted over with the prominent green paint present in the pictures.

        Made in Germany

I think that this one is made in Germany, and used in Finland. We get lot of different kind of optical items from Germany during WWII.
