I meant to say that if our friend thinks that these straps are odd and he wants to get rid of them I'd be glad to take them...for they're very nice!I think that those M44s went straight to your head !

I can't see any problems with yours.

If you still don't feel comfortable with them straps I could 1) BUY THEM or 2) Swap them for a RBNred pair or a 1941-dated pair or a 1942-dated pair or a box of melted popsicles with a Bill Clinton's signature on the lid!

Only thing out of the ordinary is that they look entirely black, and not brown on the inside.. but I'd be more then happy to add them to my collection
