Does someone know what it is? A friend has 2 of these with german text. Nur fur die platzpatronen 33 or something like that does it say. Is it ww2 captured and marked for the gew. gr. ger. ?

Well, doesn't look very "german" to me.. is that a brass stud ?
But on the other hand, the Platzpatrone 33 does exist.. do you by any chance have a picture of the writing and more detailed pic's of the ammo pouch.
btw, the platzpatrone 33 was not used for the Gew. Gr. Ger., they had different kind of ammo with wooden heads
