Mp 40 Leaterh Pouch - Opinions

I am interested in your opinion about this pouch. It has been treated with oil or something else - and has additional holes in closure straps. What is your judgement about originality?

Hi These are not German WWII,I would say czech repros.

I've seen some pictures of Italian-made, and German-made but converted, pouches nearly identical to Mp40 pouches- only way to tell them apart was that the straps had two holes in them (just like yours) to accomodate both the 30 and 40 round mags of the Beretta M38a. Never seen them in black before, though... and they're stamped for Mp40's. Possibly a German-modified Mp40 pouch for the Beretta? Maybe a post-war mod? Or then again, maybe I'm completely off.

Actually I like the stiching... leather, paint on the steel D-ring.... denazified waffenamt... overall look... gmm.. thats quite hard to fake...
things I dont like are flaps - look like thay are hand cut....

I dont know much about leather puches for Mp.. but I would not buy one over internet - these puppies need good background and personal inspection I believe.. ...
