    Gebirgsjager crampons

    Hi Guys,
just found out these old pics, and came up to my mind I would have always liked to ask to someone well into Gj about these crampons: are they GERMAN WARTIME?
    Thanks so much!
    Daniele

                Hi Daniele,

I could be wrong, but these tend to be more like a civilian model. The WW2 military crampons had a long webb belt per crampon.
They resemble the "known to me" crampons and pouch. The pouches I know are of the green Windjacke cloth.

I could be proved wrong, but until that ... civilian to me ...

                MfG,
                Bart

Thanks a lot Bart..! Any other? Any picture of a 100% textbook military issue?
                  Thanks
                  Daniele
